The thing about Anusha is that she likes art.
A LOT.

She likes it so much that she’s a professional illustrator, graphic designer, paper-cut artist and an art professor & facilitator from pre-school to college level. How’s that for passion?

Since 2017, she’s utilized her killer creative instincts to make meaningful work for a whole bunch of projects with a special focus on the non-profit and social justice spaces across the globe. We’re talking longstanding institutions like the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), the Union of Southern Social Workers (USSW), IPAS50 and multiple Indian state governments, amongst others. Her illustrations have been featured in the pages of Cosmopolitan, Buzzfeed and The Huffington Post, and she’s been the go-to choice for several authors and publishing houses, covering a variety of themes with her illustrations. How’s that for range?

The other thing about Anusha is that she likes when art makes an impact.

That’s why most of her own thrives at the intersection of activism, social development, childhood/adolescence, mental health and queer identity. Her background in economics and mass communication adds depth to her work, and her fine arts degree provides it an extra finesse. How’s that for well-rounded creativity?

Anusha has a natural talent colour theory, loves petting grumpy cats, hanging out with her husband, illustrating children’s books, going on hikes, posting about going on hikes, listening to Tame Impala (yes, she knows it’s just one guy), cooking food without following recipes, visiting her old hometown of Bangalore in India, attending gigs in her current hometown of Baltimore in the USA, spending hours on FaceTime and watching bad reality TV. How’s that for being a really awesome and balanced individual that you should definitely work with?
